Greetings Almaden Basketball Families, We look forward to welcoming all players back to the court for the 2023-2024 Almaden Basketball Winter season. Registration is now open for all age groups; 1st to High School. Mandatory player evaluations for Grades 3 to 8 will take place on the weekend of Sep 16-17, 2023. Exact times for each division will be released as we get closer. We currently plan to have a full competitive Almaden Youth Basketball season. We need coaches!!! Almaden Youth Basketball is a 100% volunteer organization - from board members to coaches - with the goal of having kids of all levels get the experience and joy from playing basketball on a team. We heavily rely on parents who step up and become coaches. At some point, as divisions fill up, we need to start moving new registrants to a waitlist. This typically happens due to lack of coaches for a particular division. As you sign-up your player, please also consider volunteering as a head or assistant coach.
